Tutoring & Educational Services

  • Year round private tutoring for grades K-12 in all subjects. Study skills class available.
  • Homework assistance in any subject. Runs during the school year, weekdays from 2:30pm-5:30pm. Membership fee for the year is $20.
  • Y teen after school program 6-12th grade. Transportation provided from school to YMCA. Program available to Papillion/La Vista Middle school students.
  • Reading and basic instruction to review academic skills. General Education Development (GED) to earn a high school diploma. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to learn to speak, read, and write English. list of testing times available to complete the required five components.
  • Teen program ages 12 and up, every weekday from 2:30pm-6:30pm. Free program to members.
  • Our volunteers work one-on-one with our Adult Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs. The Reach Out and Read program provides books for children ages 6 months to 5 years of age through participating physician offices to promote the importance of early literacy. Tutoring services are for adults.
